Our Gal, Lyndsy Fonseca

Desperate Housewives Photo

Desperate Housewives Photo

Lyndsy Fonseca came to Barbizon of San Francisco when she was 13-years-old.  Her first major job was a recurring role on The Young and the Restless.  Her career developed with roles on CSI, Heroes, How I Met Your Mother, Big Love and she also plays Dylan on the ABC hit show Desperate Housewives.

Now, she’s moving on to feature films!  Check her out this coming year in Kiss Ass (2009) along side Nicholas Cage and Hot Tub Time Machine (2010) with John Cusack, Chevy Chase and Crispin Glover.

We just got to visit her with step-dad, mom and young sister, Hannah, last weekend at The International Performing Arts Conference.  Her family was so nice and were featured on our guest panel for a Hollywood seminar called, Support vs. Sabatage.  Parents got to listen to their first-hand advice on how to be supportive of your child while they are pursing their dreams in the Entertainment Industry.  They talked about everything from child labor permits, to getting school tutors, to what it’s like to be on set!  Hannah also told us about her upcoming career — she’s been busy on the set of Bones, Boston Legal and Dirty, Sexy, Money.

We are so proud of our San Francisco family!  Check back later as we upload clips and pictures from the seminar.  They will be coming back in January 2010 to meet again with our aspiring talent and their familes.  Visit to find out how you can be in Los Angeles with us next year to hear their story and ask important questions. (Kick Ass – check out the plot summary for Lyndsy’s character)
